Paula Lawlor & Alice Hartigan – Team SOS
The annual HR Champion Awards took place on March 15th in Smock Alley Theatre, organised by Donna O’Connor of Blacksquare Events. The Irish HR Champion Awards celebrate the hard work and dedication of HR teams – operating at the front line, delivering ambitious programmes, impacting business performance, and transforming employee experience. The Awards recognise the success, innovation and business focus of HR delivering the best strategies in a variety of categories.
Suicide or Survive were delighted to propose The Health Products Regulatory Authority (HPRA) for the Well-being strategy champion award. Suicide or Survive has worked with HPRA since May 2018 to support them in the implementation of the mental health strand of their Health and Wellbeing Strategy. We have been blown away by their continued commitment to breaking down stigma, empowering all who work there to look after their own wellbeing and creating an open workplace culture around mental health. Their continued commitment and open attitude towards mental health in the workplace is a shining example of how change is possible.
Paula Lawlor and Alice Hartigan from Suicide or Survive attended the award ceremony and were delighted to meet Ciaran Wright, who was there on behalf of HPRA. The night was full of glam and excited professionals as they attended one of the first live events in two years!
SOS were thrilled to hear the name, HPRA called out as joint winner in the Wellbeing Champion category. Ciaran accepted the award on behalf of the HPRA and thanked Suicide or Survive for their continued support in implementing their workplace wellness strategy. It was a pleasure to be there on the night and a big congratulations to all the nominees and winners.
