We are currently recruiting for an Administration and Finance Officer to join our team.
The purpose of the role of the Administrator and Finance Officer is key to supporting the CEO and SOS team in the smooth running of the organisation, as well as providing support on Board and Governance matters.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage info email account and escalate / reference all queries to the relevant person.
- Maintain all supplier contracts and other documentation in line with GDPR.
- General office management admin
- Compile social media platform reports and website analytics.
- Update website through WordPress platform
- Act as first point of call for external IT support
- Ensure all records are updated and managed appropriately on the CRM.
- Process monthly accounts payable
- Ensure all records managed appropriately on the finance system (Accounts IQ)
- Reconcile monthly finances and provide reports.
- Ensure all payments are accurately logged on the CRM system.
- Provide timely receipts to donors and funders.
- Provide a high level of administrational support to the Programme Coordinator as required (maintaining programme calendar/ booking training rooms etc)
- Coordinate training materials for programmes as required and liaise with Facilitators re same
- Update and maintain the programmes registration platform and respond to registration queries where required.
- Support the Programmes Coordinator in the delivery of programme reports.
- Provide cover for other team members when required and as directed by the CEO
Essential:
- 2 years’ experience in a similar role with flexibility, reliability, and particular initiative to meet deadlines.
- Systems focused with an eye on continued process improvement.
- Demonstrated relationship management skills and experience in working in a supportive manner.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate and work with a range of professionals from a broad range of backgrounds.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational, administrative and time management skills.
- Competent IT Skills including Microsoft advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- An understanding of GDPR and its application to the work of SOS
Desirable
- Experience in using the Salesforce CRM package is desirable.
- Experience working with accounts software such as Accounts IQ.
- Knowledge of the community and voluntary sector
- Experience of using platforms such as Salesforce, SharePoint and Canva
Critical Core Competencies:

- Strong CRM and finance system skills
- Understanding of the digital environment
Terms:
- One year fixed-term contract with possibility of extension
- Salary: €35,000 gross per annum
